Breaking up with static rain.
Squeeze the juice out of me!
The juicer, full of tears,
blends a little of me into you.

You cut me into a jigsaw puzzle
and didn't even try to put me back together.
Pieces of mixed emotions...
A kaleidoscope of love, hate, sadness, and pain.
Is that what I am to you?

Pieces of paper that were poems of love
shredded up with all your might.
Throw away the words I innocently bled.
You've beaten me into a mix of nothing,
but somehow have scrambled all of the negativity out.

Burnt the emotions into crisps and crumbs
of our intangible love.

Put me on a plate in the form of a smile,
and you don't even put one on your face.
You're all alone and still think of our static break-up.
At least you know you were the one that fucked up...
and fucked at her place.

You try your best to bring us together.
This kaleidoscopic jigsaw, crispy paper of love.
This is a story of what the lover is feeling after the person they love is caught cheating with a woman after 45 years of endless dieing love. She's is not herself, and feels that all of her anger is sucked out. She can't even argue and tell him tha tshe doesn't want him back, eventhough he does want her back.

I like this a lot. I love all the little metaphors and how you summarized them at the end. Very nice. It's a very sad poem, but it also comes across really strong, and for a breakup poem, I think that's amazing and refreshing.

I like the way you use words like squeeze and scrambled and shredded, they're all very action oriented, and give the poem sort of an overall feeling of intense movement, of swirling and breaking down, like the burnt shreds of paper in the wind.

gorgeous.
